The CW has made its decision a few weeks before the end of the season : “Arrow” will stop next year, at the end of its 8th season. It will be the first series DC Comics of the chain to stop… Warner Bros. Television The love story between the chain CW, and the series DC Comics had started with it in 2012 : Arrow will be complete at the end of the year at the end of a 8th season consists of only 10 episodes against the 23 usual. It is its star Stephen Amell, who announced it first on social networks, creating of course the excitement among the fans all over the world : Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life… but you can’t be vigilant forever.

There is so much to say… but for the moment I just want to thank you.” Stephen Amell had already implied that he thought to stop Arrow at the end of his contract which was binding until the end of season 7. After months of negotiations, it was decided to order a season 8 as a last hurrah for the character. Arrow will therefore be the first series of the franchise, DC Comics on the CW to stop. But the Arrow-verse is guaranteed to survive even a bunch of years, between the Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow and the future of Batwoman.
